Frozen Indian Mackerel

The silver-cheeked fish, also known as the “Indian Mackerel,” has a slender, slightly flattened body and is recognized for its fast and strong swimming ability, making it well-suited for a migratory lifestyle. In Vietnam, this fish typically ranges in size from 72 to 280 mm, with an average length of around 209 mm. Silver-cheeked fish have distinctive features, including two separated dorsal fins, auxiliary fins behind the second dorsal and anal fins, and high pectoral fins. This fish is particularly abundant from March to June and September to November, making it a popular and valuable catch for local fisheries and a healthy choice for consumers worldwide.
